November Favorites

This month I don't have a lot of favorites. I feel like the month just flew by before I could even start using something new or notice I've been using something a lot. The few things that I have been in love with this month are of course listed below so lets get to it!

I have been through my fair share of eye makeup removers. I've tried wipes and I've tried other liquids and they either were too oily (like to the point it would get in my eyes) or they made my eyes itch afterwords. Not good. After using my Simple wipes to take off my makeup for so long I decided to try something new. I have to say for the most part I am loving this Sephora Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover. I was hesitant with this stuff at first but I had been seeing people online raving about it so~ i am a VIB now so may as well take advantage of that. This makeup remover is oily but it isn't as overwhelming as the drug store brands I've tried in the past. I don't have to rub at my eyes to make sure that everything is off it just comes off which I love.

Now this translucent powder by Laura Mercier was one thing I really didn't know if I should believe the hype on. I had a powder that I had been using for a while and I found that it worked well enough. I wasn't sure if I should really be dropping $40 on a powder when I had an affordable drug store one already. Well, let me tell you I have never been so wrong in my life. I tested this stuff out for the first time when I went to a sorority formal a few weeks back. There were a lot of people, hours filled with dancing, and I came home to my face looking the same as when I left. Considering how much I did that night I was shocked and the only thing I did differently from my normal routine was that powder. Talk about a good first impression.

Since the seasons are changing I have become more religious with making sure my Maracuja Oil is apart of my nightly routine. I've had this stuff for a while and I love how it makes my skin feel in the morning after applying it at night. In the winter my skin of course is dryer and this just helps my face stay moisturize. My skin looks brighter when I use this and it doesn't make me break out which is wonderful! I love this stuff.

I have own this lipstick from Maybelline - Broadway Bronze for a long time but I rarely use it. This month I found my love for it again. There's nothing really spectacular about the color, it looks kind of like a nude actually on my lips. But that's what I like about it, it's not busy it's just something to add to my lips so they don't just look plain and dry. The white eyeliner came in handy for those days where I just looked exhausted. Adding it to the waterline makes you look more awake. I have had this  pigment since high school and I can't tell you why I bought it in the first place. I love this stuff and I haven't even made a dent in it cause there's so much in that little pod. I love my golds and this is my favorite thing to wear for concerts, prom, new years, and other events like that. It's a real pop.

This candle...I thought I was obsessed with the hazlenut cream one - no. This candle smells so good and literally after burning it for the day everything smells like pumpkin spice. It's just such a good scent and I might have stocked up on some since they're always close to sold out at the local Walmart.

I have a food item this month! I was obsessed with pumpkin spice this year clearly, and these english muffins are no exception. I never actually had any of these until I was having breakfast at a friends' house and she made some. They smelled good and tasted better.

Being the avid Beyoncé fan that I am, I got the Becoming Beyoncé that came out recently. The book is rather thick so, no I haven't finished it or really made a dent since well, school. I will report back when I do finish though but I can't wait to find time to actually get into it!

I don't know why but this month I couldn't stop rotating between How to Train Your Dragon 1 & 2. I just love these freaking movies and the second one just...I'm not that emotional but that movie just hits me. So yea it was good I asked for the combo pack for my birthday. If you haven't let these movies be apart of your life you should really consider checking them out. #waitingforhttyd3

Oh and I have to give a shout out to my heater, it has kept me warm so I love it a lot.

I feel like I was all over the place with music this month and my shower playlist was constantly changing. Yes, Hello by Adele is still there since, that song is too good not to be played constantly.
So here are some of the songs that were played in constant rotation:
